About Farringdon
Conveyancing in the UK is broken. Severe delays, lack of transparency, and poor client experiences are endemic. The industry is fragmented, under pressure, and struggling to cope with growing complexity.
Farringdon is a fully regulated conveyancing law firm designed from the ground-up around AI to bring speed, clarity and consistency to the conveyancing process. Our clients are home buyers and sellers, as well as estate agents and other intermediaries that introduce clients to us.
Our ambition is to become the household name for moving home. We’re right at the start of that journey having launched in May with our first cohort of estate agents and clients using Farringdon to sell their homes.

The Opportunity
This is a founding marketing hire and a rare chance to build a brand in a new category from the ground up. You will be the person who defines how Farringdon shows up in the world: what we stand for, who we speak to, and how we earn their trust. We're looking for fresh thinking and bold ideas that help Farringdon stand out in a homogenous market.
You will work across two distinct audiences, each with different needs, different language, and different jobs to be done. For buyers and sellers, the challenge is building trust and reducing anxiety in a process that has historically given them little reason for either. For estate agents and mortgage brokers that introduce clients to Farringdon, the challenge is demonstrating that referring their customers to Farringdon protects their reputation and their revenue. These marketing challenges require a versatile skill set capable of operating effectively across both B2B and B2C environments. Success in this role depends on understanding the distinct needs, behaviours, and strategies required for each audience, while balancing both approaches to drive impactful results.
You will also shape how Farringdon talks about AI in a regulated context where the story is not just cheaper, but better and more reliable for the people going through a high-stakes and often emotional moment in their lives. This means helping position Farringdon as a leader in the responsible adoption of AI with a focus on building trust.
What You Will Do
Own and develop Farringdon’s brand positioning, visual identity, and tone of voice and shape how Farringdon communicates its AI-native conveyancing model for both B2C and B2B audiences.
Lead the go-to-market strategy for estate agents to grow leads and conversion.
Design and test our first B2C campaigns.
Feed market insight back into product and strategy decisions.
Manage a six figure marketing budget with a high degree of agency and trust.
Scope to build and lead a team once the foundations are established.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
AI-first mindset: You're using AI as a force-multiplier - producing high quality output more quickly, testing more ideas, and expanding your skills and minimising reliance on specialists.
Proven experience at an early stage: You've been an early marketing hire in a startup before. You know how to balance building a brand strategy and lean processes with execution.
Experience with marketing to B2C and B2B audiences, or in a multi-sided platform where different audiences require fundamentally different approaches.
A strong editorial instinct and attention to detail - you'll need to translate technical concepts in AI and conveyancing into clear, compelling language, without jargon.
An analytical approach to marketing, supporting strategy with evidence.
Desirable
Previous experience marketing to estate agents or mortgage brokers.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
